Equipping
Our mission at Catalyst4Healing is to equip and release Christians to heal the sick (Mt.10:8) and, by doing so, to create a culture amongst Christians where healing in Jesus’ name is a natural and normal part of an everyday Christian lifestyle.
A dictionary definition describes a catalyst as… “an agent which provokes or speeds up significant change or action.” Acting as a catalyst for healing, we seek to encourage, equip and release Christians into healing ministry as a daily lifestyle.
Ephesians 4:12 speaks of “Equipping God’s people for works of service…”. Catalyst4Healing does its equipping by using a practical, hands on, mentoring scheme consisting of five clear and inter-related ongoing, relational components.

From the student’s perspective this same method looks slightly different:

C4H’s mentoring uses a variety of components:
- Mentoring Groups. There are 4 mentoring groups which meet about 4-6 times a year and are based in Bath, Bristol, Melksham (West Wiltshire) and Shaftesbury (North Dorset).
- Individual Mentoring sessions.
- Intensive Mentoring Scheme. Our next intensive mentoring course (spanning several months) for Equipping in the Healing Ministry will be starting on the 24th February, 2026, in Chippenham. It will meet fortnightly for 10 sessions and will be limited to 20 places. To find out more and book your place, please click here.
- Healing Café Training. We have developed a training day which is specifically intended for those with an interest in healing in a Healing Café setting. You will find more details and an application form here.
- HOTS Training. We have developed a training day which is specifically intended for those who are interested in healing on the streets (HOTS). You will find more details and an application form here.
- Encouraging Personal Growth. Many, many books have been written about healing and miracles. To save you the trouble of having to work out for yourself what to read, we have provided a shortlist of books which we have found helpful here. Of course, there are many other books which will be helpful but, hopefully, our list will help to get you started.
- Interactive Group Discussion. Celebrating testimonies, asking questions, and discussing what is being learned and experienced.
- Activation Exercises. Theology is good but people also learn the real nuts and bolts by having a go. We love practicing and having a go at the things we are learning.
- Speakers. Listening to and receiving impartation from anointed in-house and outside speakers.
- Open Meetings. These ‘open’ meetings are intended to stir us up, motivate us and equip us as we both encounter His presence and press in for more, though prayer, worship and declarations. By doing this we increase momentum.
- Practical opportunities to put what we learn into practice and to exercise healing ministry include: Healing Café; and HOTS Bath (Healing On The Streets of Bath) as well as empowering people to release healing in their daily lives wherever they are.
- Gatherings. A residential get-away where we gather together for worship, fellowship, teaching, impartation and ministry. The event is aimed at those who are actively involved in C4H’s healing ministry so, consequently, attendance is by invitation.
If you are wanting to establish or revitalise a healing ministry within your Church or organisation then, by invitation, C4H can partner with you to help you accomplish this. More details can be found here.
