In her own words, Heather Hargreaves tells her story of how her left arm was lengthened on Thursday 27th November 2025 during one of the intensive Equipping for Healing mentoring sessions run by Paul Skelton.
Paul had mentioned more than once that he now readily has the faith to see God lengthen a limb so that a person’s legs are the same length. I piped up that I’d never seen this!
I am attending the intensive Equipping for Healing course. Paul asked whether anyone in the room had one leg longer than the other. Apparently not! I quipped that I had one arm longer than the other. I’ve been aware of this since I was a teenager, but it’s just a matter of interest and has never been a medical problem!
To my surprise, Paul asked if I’d like to have my arms made equal length. I thought for a second (whether I was willing to let go of this quirk!) and then agreed, keen to experience God’s power.
Paul asked me to stand at the front and face him. We were side-on to the rest of the group of 12-20 people so they had a good view! Paul asked me to mirror him by holding my arms out wide. He then told me to draw my outstretched arms in front of me (i.e. palms facing). It was apparent my right arm was nearly a section of finger longer than my left (about 1/2”, or 12mm).
Paul put his hands gently under mine. I dared not look him in the eye so I was looking over his right shoulder! Paul prayed such a simple prayer that I can’t even remember what he said, but I know it will have been in the name of Jesus!
I then had a peculiar sense of my left arm creeping forward, with nothing happening at my shoulders. I remember thinking, this is so slow, we could be here for 2-3 hours! I looked at my outstretched left hand and saw it creeping forward. It stopped when my left middle finger tip met the length of my right one. It turns out that it happened really very quickly! My course mates were seated on my left, so had a good view! It was so simple, and yet extraordinary. It was naturally supernatural!
I couldn’t wait for the coffee break. I dashed into the loo to check my arms by my sides in the mirror, and also my outstretched arms – both now the same length!”
