Stories from the Melksham Healing Café held on Monday, 6th October, 2025. Names have been deliberately withheld in order to preserve anonymity.
Nancy Millard writes… “We had a glorious morning with so many healings and wonderful stories. I can’t remember them all but here are a few to encourage you.”
Person 1:
A woman came in with pain in her shoulder and back that resulted from an operation for her back. After prayer she told us that Jesus has done a wonderful thing, I feel much better in myself and the pain has reduced from 9 to 2.
Person 2:
Another woman came with four broken bones in her back (accumulated over the years) and other things she wanted prayed for. After prayer the pain level reduced from 9 to 6. We spoke to her outside, as she left, and she said her pain level had now gone down to 4.
Her whole demeanour changed from downcast (head low) to sitting up straight wanting to return next month. She took a Why Jesus booklet and said she’s going to look for her Bible at home.
Person 3:
Another woman (who came with her husband) had back pain – a trapped nerve. After praying her legs became the same length and her pain level moved from 10 to 5.
Person 4:
I met a couple outside and I told them about the Healing Café and told them about Caroline’s ears being healed. The man said it was strange that I told them about that testimony because he was going to the RUH to get his ears checked and to get a hearing aid. His wife was very happy that finally after so many years he would have his hearing sorted. He however now wanted prayers because of the testimony but didn’t want to come in and risk missing the bus to Bath. I grabbed another team member and we prayed for him outside and blessed them with the peace of Jesus as they left to go to the RUH.
