Firstly, a testimony from Maureen Vince…
My Life Group Leader asked me to accompany her to pray for a lady, with whom she used to work, who was in the RUH cancer unit, being treated for skin cancer which was a lump on her buttock. When we arrived, she looked well and was on an IV drip and had been told that the cancer had spread to her bowel. My Life Group Leader had told me, previously, that the lady and her partner (who was also present) were “close to becoming Christians.” I took a Why Jesus? booklet and we went through the prayer of salvation with them. Both gave their lives to the Lord. We then prayed against the cancer using some prayer pointers that Paul Skelton had shared in the Melksham mentoring group. When she had her next scan, there was no sign of cancer! She was discharged from hospital. Later on, we found out that she had gone back to work and had said she is so happy!

For events planned further ahead in the future, please check out our calendar on the C4H website which shows all of C4H’s activities. It can be found here.
Team Page…
A number of helpful resources can be found on the team page of the C4H website (password is HOTS4075). These include: recordings of talks, C4H’s values for ministry; C4H’s Healing Café culture; HOTS training manuals; C4H’s Policies for Ministry; and C4H’s Data Privacy Policy.
WhatsApp Groups…
Catalyst4Healing runs several WhatsApp groups in order to get the right information to the right people. This helps C4H to operate smoothly. Details about the WhatsApp groups and how you may join them can be found here.
Last week we started a new group, C4H HOTS. This group is reserved for matters relating to the operation of HOTS (Healing On The Streets). If you’re involved with HOTS Bath then please join this group.
If you are involved with any of the Healing Cafés then we recommend that you join the C4H Healing Café group as this will help to keep you abreast of arrangements as they are made.
‘Remote’ Prayer Requests…
The vision behind C4H is primarily for ‘hands on’ healing and our desire would always be to encourage people to attend the cafés in person where possible. However, before each Healing Café we receive several ‘remote’ requests for prayer from or on behalf of those who aren’t able to attend in person.
We try to minister into these whilst the café is running, if we have time, expecting the Holy Spirit to bring an encounter for the person right there and then, even if they are not physically in the room (just like the Syrophoenician woman’s Daughter of Mk.7:24-30, the centurion’s servant of Mt.8:5-13 and Lk.7:1-10, and the Capernaum official’s son of Jn.4:46–54). However, when the cafés are busy we find that we can’t always give sufficient attention to these ‘remote’ prayer requests, so are looking for anyone who may like the opportunity to pray and minister into these requests. If this is you, please do let us know.
Prayer & Thanksgiving…
- There is a C4H Intercessors WhatsApp group which is specifically for those who wish to intercede for C4H’s and Paul Skelton’s ministry. Details about how to join can be found here.
- Testimonies of some of the healings at the Bath and Melksham Healing Cafés can be found here.
- Thank you, Jesus, for raising up operational support for Paul as he leads C4H. Please pray as Paul seeks to delegate some of the tasks associated with running C4H and its activities. Please pray that the right people will be identified for the right tasks.
- We think we now have someone with skills as a videographer who will help to curate CH4’s testimonies. Please pray that we will be able to do this well and with wisdom as we begin to get this aspect up and running.
- Work is underway to establish C4H as a CIA (Charitable Incorporated Organisation). Please give this matter some prayerful consideration…
- Proposed trustees are: Andrew Baddeley; John Firth; Muriel Wilkins (chair); Chris Wilson.
- The basic paperwork has been agreed by the lawyer from whom we asked for advice. We are hoping that, shortly, the application itself will be completed and then submitted. Once submitted, we are advised that the Charity Commission will take about nine weeks to process our application.
- Please pray that the application will only have to be submitted once and that it is accepted and passed without incident.
- This necessary work will incur some expense. Anyone wishing to contribute may do so via our Donate page.
- Please pray for those leading our various C4H activities:
- Dawn Benda (Bath Healing Café)
- Susan Kyle (Food Hygiene & Safety Advisor)
- Susan Kyle (Coordinating our intercession)
- Andy Ladhams (HOTS Bath)
- Nancy Millard (Melksham Healing Café)
- Iris Phillips (Shaftesbury Healing Café)
- Interest is still being shown in the possibility of starting healing cafés in additional locations in the south-west of England.
- We are looking into opening a Healing Café in Chippenham, probably early in 2026.
