Early-to-mid August 2025, my Life Group Leader asked me to accompany her to pray for a lady, with whom she used to work, who was in the RUH cancer unit, being treated for skin cancer which was a lump on her buttock.

When we arrived, she looked well and was on an IV drip and had been told that the cancer had spread to her bowel. My Life Group Leader had told me, previously, that the lady and her partner (who was also present) were “close to becoming Christians.” I took a Why Jesus? booklet and we went through the prayer of salvation with them. Both gave their lives to the Lord. We then prayed against the cancer using some prayer pointers that Paul Skelton had shared in the Melksham mentoring group.

On 29th August, I heard that when she had her next scan there was no sign of cancer! She was discharged from hospital.

Later on, we found out that she had gone back to work and had said she is so happy!
