A selection of testimonies from the Bath Healing Café held on Tuesday 20th May, 2025. Names have been deliberately withheld in order to preserve anonymity.
Person 1:
- Back pain (pain level 6/10) due to slipped discs which sometimes also affect the sciatic nerve.
- As we started praying, the Holy Spirit started working, even before we prayed for the condition, and broughtt he pain level down to 3.
- After prayer the pain had completely gone.
Person 2:
- This lovely timid, deaf and dumb lady was encouraged to come into the café by Dave who was outside inviting people to the café. Initially, she refused as she didn’t know Jesus and described herself as an ‘atheist’. Dave told her that Jesus can still love and heal you and in she came! She was experiencing back pain (pain level 10) and tinnitus.
- The team prayed for her and her tinnitus stopped. Her back pain went down from a 10 to 2.
- We also discovered that one of the team knew some sign language so was able to talk to her with the team. She left with a big smile on her face, the pain fully reduced and tinnitus gone. There was a marked increase in her spirit and confidence. She also left with a Why Jesus? leaflet.
Person 3:
- Needed help with walking, alleviate pain in my hip (pain level 6), cure epilepsy.
- After prayer, pain hip reduced to 3 and could walk freely. Felt the presence of God (first time in a while, “the enemy had isolated me”).
Persons 4 & 5 (a couple):
- What do you want Jesus to do for you? Heal my immune system. Heal my relationship with my sisters. Find a home for my partner and I.
- The couple weren’t sure if they wanted to go to a ‘regular’ Church. By the time they left they were encouraged and asking about a local Church. They received multiple stories and testimonies from the team who attend different local Churches and indicated that they want to attend.
- During prayer, one of them experienced the following: “I experienced a sense of a mountain top and me on the top. A vast landscape around me and a feeling of freedom and openness.”
And finally…
- An update on the lady I prayed for at our Church before going on to the Healing Cafe last Tuesday. She was close to tears with back pain (level 8) and also asked for prayer for a prolapsed womb. We prayed and within 15 mins she felt a jolt upwards in her body.
- I took her prayer request to the Healing Cafe and she told me that by that evening all the pain had gone and she had freedom of movement. Thank you Jesus.
